Before
there was a West Hollywood, there was St. Victor's. The church was
founded in 1906 as a spiritual outpost for isolated rail and oil
workers. At that time, the area was a quaint rural community called
Sherman.
The
small wooden church was replaced in 1960 with the present
building.
Today,
St. Victor's Church proclaims the gospel to a diverse and cosmopolitan
community.

Weber, which he composed for the dedication booklet.
Parishioners
