The
Martyrdom of Bl. Miguel Pro See
an icon of Bl. Miguel and other Jesuit martyrs November 23 Miguel Pro was a Jesuit priest who ministered in secret during the anti-Catholic pogroms of the Mexican government. He was accused of plotting against the government and was executed by firing squad on November 23, 1927, at the age of 36, while proclaiming "¡Viva Cristo Rey!" (Long live Christ the King!).
